Philosophy
Saint
Nicholas School is located in Struthers, a suburb of Youngstown,
Ohio. It is the Parish Elementary (K-8) School for Saint Nicholas,
a Roman Catholic Parish, which was established in 1865. Saint
Nicholas School is an educational institution in which Catholic
teaching, worship, and social concern are integrated into the
experience of the community, thus forming a complete educational
background.

4 reporting quarters of 9 weeks, with interim reports at 4
1/2 weeks, 178 instructional days. The
total number of days in the school year is 189. Our school
