Catholic education is and has always been a
vital part of my life. I attended Catholic schools through high
school. I am proud to be a graduate of St. Nicholas School and
Cardinal Mooney. I have carried this tradition of Catholic education
into my life as a mother and an educator. My four children also
attended Catholic schools and I have been a teacher for the diocese
for over 30 years.
I graduated from YSU in 1979 with a Bachelors
in Education. I began teaching at St. Luke's where I stayed for
3 years before taking time to raise my own children. During this
time I was a substitute teacher for the Diocese of Youngstown.
In the spring of 1982 I began teaching at St. Nick's where I have
remained.

Most of my experience has been in second grade.
I enjoy teaching this level because of the many experiences that
my students have. I have witnessed many children take important
steps in their religious lives through the sacraments of Reconciliation
and First Eucharist. I feel blessed that I have been able to be
a part of such special events in the lives of my students
