I began my career at St. Nicholas School teaching
the sixth grade before moving up to the seventh grade. I have taught
hundreds of students and believe we continue to produce wonderful students
who become great contributors to our society.
My area of concentration is Mathematics, a part of
the curriculum in which I have seen a great shift. Our students are
expected to master much harder concepts than in the past. This will
continue as they are challenged by our ever changing world of technology.
I became Athletic Director because I love sports.
Children today have very busy lives juggling school, homework and extra-curricular
activities. It is a joy watching our children begin to excel at these

challenges in Junior High. The beauty of combining sports with school produces students who must begin to use their time wisely, become good sportsmen, work as a team, start something they must finish and begin healthy habits at an early age. Some of my skills as a teacher include being able
to communicate well with students, staff and parents, all with different
personality types. I am able to lead others by motivating, encouraging
and instructing them. I am self-motivated and willing to set goals
and work to achieve them, assuming my own responsibility. I organize
my time and resources wisely while being flexible. I strive to be
fair, treating all students equally.
I love working with children at St. Nicholas School.
I believe in the value of Catholic education and will work hard to
carry on the tradition of walking in the footsteps of Jesus.
